Systematic Withdrawal Plan

Understanding SWP

What Is a Systematic Withdrawal Plan?

A Systematic Withdrawal Plan allows an investor to withdraw a fixed or predefined amount periodically from an eligible Mutual Fund scheme, helping create a structured approach for managing regular cash-flow requirements from an existing investment.

For every scheduled withdrawal, the required number of Mutual Fund units are redeemed based on the applicable NAV. The remaining units continue to stay invested in the selected scheme, allowing the investment to remain exposed to future market movements while periodic withdrawals continue.
